What is health?: Defining and preserving good health
WHAT IS HEALTH?
Well,
the main definition of Health is a state in which we have complete and proper
physical, mental and social fitness. A healthy body is capable of doing all
most every task that is necessary for living, but asking different people
about their perspectives on health opened up different doors.
Let's just quickly into those points:
When
asked the people who are going through mental illness, they responded in a
quite different way that health is having a healthy and peaceful mind or mental
state.
When
the same question was asked to a person suffering from breathing issues, they defined health as an ability to breathe easily.
Similarly,
when the same question was asked to a person who was going througha a sleeping disorder, he responded that health means having a proper sleep schedule.
Basically,
every individual thinks differently, everyone has different ways of seeing
things. Health is having the ability to do things
even if you have an illness, health should not be defined by the shape of the individual if you are fat, you are healthy or if you are thin, you are
sick every person has a different body and a different figure.
We
should not judge someone by their physical appearance or mental state. If
someone is capable of walking, moving, eating, or sleeping they are healthy.
To have a healthy body you need to do some basic things that are
1- Maintain your hygiene
You should maintain your oral hygiene, start taking care of your hair, clean your hands and nails properly, and keep a check on whatever you take as food that is cleanly cooked or not.
1- Sleep
and Rest
You know our brain refreshes at night and our body needs proper rest of at least 8 hours if you will avoid sleeping at night and continuously work or play games then your body will not make the energy that you normally need to survive your day, and you will get sick.
1- Maintain a good and healthy relationship
We
as human beings need to maintain relationships with the people who are
surrounding us you know why? Because when you are living in a society you need
different things to survive what will you do if you don’t have anyone to help
you with basic things?
Just maintain good relationships with people around you will feel relaxed.
1- Exercise
Exercise
is a very important element that everyone should do to maintain the
body's physical and mental condition. Exercise helps you in reducing stress
levels, and improves your sleeping quality, and the blood flow in your body becomes
excellent.
Just make a routine of doing simple and easy exercises for 10 minutes daily after waking up every morning your body will feel so much relief.
1- Environment
Environment
affects your mood and your health very much. If you choose to stay in a bad and
polluted environment where you are not able to perform your basic things you
will never find your mental peace, just change your environment whenever you
are not feeling good.
Take out some time for yourself and go to the park
or mountains or see nature it will calm you.
1- Stay
Hydrated
Drinking
a lot of water makes you feel energetic, and it
maintains the functions of the body very well.
Drinking water makes the blood volume in your body sufficient.
An
amazing fact about drinking water is that it removes
all the waste through urination. Drinking water prevents you from the condition
called dehydration, our skin will glow once we start drinking plenty of water.
It also helps in maintaining your body's weight.
Meditation
Meditation
is the process of freeing your mind from constant thoughts and making yourself
feel the silence to reduce stress and anxiety.
It
helps you to figure out all the solutions for every day's problems and helps you to maintain peace. It's a very effective process in which you get to know
yourself very well.
Once
you start doing it you will definitely start loving
yourself and you will see yourself recovering.
