 PERSONALITY DISORDER  

Personality is defined by the flexible thinking, behavior and appearance of someone, the way how someone react to different situations and behaves in certain normal conditions, but when someone starts to react completely odd to normal situations and have a rigid way of thinking and behaving in normal situations than we call it a personality disorder.

Some people define personality that it is the way how someone looks from outside and physically, for example if someone is taller in height and have muscles then he or she has a great personality but this is wrong exception because you're thinking, your behavior, your way of doing things define your personality and when there occurs problem in your way of thinking, reacting and treating things this means that you have some kind of personality disorder. 

Are there any types of personality disorder? 

Yes, there are different types of personality disorders that are divided in to 3 CLUSTERS:  

Cluster A  

  1. Paranoid  

  1. Schizoid  

  1. schizotypal 

Cluster B 

  1. Borderline 

  1. Histrionic 

  1. Narcissistic  

  1. Antisocial 

Cluster C 

  1. Obsessive compulsive 

  1. Avoidant 

  1. Dependent  

 

Let us discuss each one with detail: 

CLUSTER A  

PARANOID PERSONALITY DISORDER  

A person with Paranoid personality disorder is always suspicious about thinking and lack trust in anything or anyone, they react to normal situations suspiciously moreover, they live in reality and do not trust anyone easily and gaining their trust in very difficult. Although they are suspicious but they do not have any psychiatric problem. They are like normal people but when you notice them deeply they react differently in different situations.

 

SCHIZOID PERSONALITY DISORDER  

A person with Schizoid personality disorder is the one who do not want to come in real world, they prefer to stay alone and they do not desire for any relationship. They have no motivation for any type of relationship or social life. Most schizoid personality disorder person do not like to interact with anyone, there most priority is to hide from everyone, sitting and staying alone is their preference.

SCHIZOTYPAL PERSONALITY DISORDER  

These are the people who have some magical kind of thinking and imagination, these people do not respond or interact with anyone normally. Ordinary they have bizarre believes about everything. Mostly schizotypal personality disorder people are mostly psychotic people. 

 

CLUSTER B  

BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER  

These types of people are wild and dangerous with their mood swings. They have extremely negative self-image and they hurt themselves by cutting and burning themselves just to give themselves pain. Borderline personality disorder makes an individual dangerous for themselves, they tend to do non-suicidal self-injury.  

These types of people want to get attention and they see the world either for all good or for all bad.

 

 HISTRIONIC PERSONALITY DISORDER  

A person with Histrionic personality disorder are extreme attention seekers and they can do anything just for the attention of others. A person with histrionic personality disorder is more like an extra and over emotional person, they will drag anything normal conversation or thing and act as if they are victims, so these types of people want themselves to be center of attention.        


NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER  

People with this type of personality disorder are more like self-entitled person, they will take things personal and get hurt because of literally no reason. These types of people take everything as a personal attack and react to that very strangely. 


ANTISOCIAL PERSONALITY DISORDER  

A person suffering from this type of personality disorder is always the one who do not care about anyone other than themselves, they mostly have agenda to make their selves comfortable with it. People with antisocial personality disorder fall in the category or psychopaths, mostly when then are not given treatment or help they act like a criminal.  

  

CLUSTER C  

OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE  

A person with Obsessive Compulsive personality disorder is extremely rigid in everything, it is like they think that their way of doing things is perfect, they have their rules and only gets satisfied when things go like they want them.  

Obsessive compulsive personality disorder makes a person egoistic because they only like thinks when they go their way.

AVOIDANT PERSONALITY DISORDER  

These disorder makes a person hypersensitive and extremely emotional that they become afraid of rejection, even they do not get into relationships because they fear for being getting rejected from other people. People with low-self-esteem fall in this category because they desire for relationships but their fear do not let them do anything.

 

 DEPENDENT PERSONALITY DISORDER  

A person with dependent personality disorder is always relaying on others, this type of person always needs someone to depend on others and this is the reason why most of dependent personality disorder people end up in some kind of toxic relationships because they are afraid of getting alone so they do not step away from toxic relationships even if they get chance to run.

 

CONCLUSION  

Basically, all these disorders play a role in disturbing an individual's personal and social life but Schizotypal, Borderline, Histrionic, Narcissistic, Antisocial disorders are wild and dangerous ones because they may get severe for an individual.
